After serving as the councilman for the 5th District of New Albany, an experience I count among the most rewarding of my life, I have embarked on a new journey that builds on my dedication to public service and fiscal responsibility. My tenure as councilman was defined by leading by example, prioritizing the people's needs, and championing greater transparency and accountability in local government. My votes consistently supported wise spending, minimal government interference, the safeguarding of private property rights, and backing our local small businesses.

My commitment to serve was ignited when I enlisted in the United States Air Force straight out of high school, serving from 2000-2006, including deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Despite my service being curtailed by health issues related to my service, the honor and discipline it instilled in me have been guiding lights in my life.

In my professional realm, I continue to make strides as an IT System Engineer at Samtec in New Albany, Indiana. My role here, backed by nearly two dozen professional certifications, mirrors my commitment to excellence and community involvement that Samtec exemplifies.

However, it's my role as a husband and father that has profoundly shaped my vision for the future. Inspired by my family, I've recognized the importance of contributing to a world that will be inherited by our children, driving me to make a meaningful impact locally.

Today, I stand before you as the former 5th District City Councilman, currently dedicating myself to broader political advocacy as the current Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party in Floyd County and the Political Director of the Libertarian Party of Indiana. In a time when a significant majority of Americans are calling for a third-party option, as evidenced by a Gallup poll in October 2023 revealing that 63% desire this alternative, I firmly believe in the Libertarian Party as not just the best option, but also an essential voice in our political landscape. It is my mission to unveil this 'best-kept secret' to a wider audience, leveraging our local successes as a foundation for expanding our reach and impact.

As we look towards the future, my commitment to my family, my community, and the principles of liberty and personal responsibility remain unshakeable. I am eager to contribute to our collective journey towards a more accountable, transparent, and free society.
